 Why I Ride

John Muller has been active in the motocross and cycling circuit since 2000. After 18 months working personally with motocross legend Ty Davis, a 2006 racing accident left John with a broken back. To facilitate his recovery, he focused on cycling as a way to regain his strength and harness his endless energy. Today, John, fully recovered, logs an average of 200 miles each week, and has demonstrated a talent for 12- and 24-hour endurance races.

Inspired by his passion for cycling to help bring more accessible coverage to the sport, John left his studies as a firefighter to begin a blog, photography catalog, and social media campaign for the premier team in mountain bike racing, Team Sho-Air. In his new role as team sounier, John is able to use his creativity and eye for graphic design hand in hand with his work ethic and passion for cycling to benefit the team and entire organization. In the future, John looks forward to completing his education with a business marketing degree at Cal State Fullerton while continuing to be an instrumental part of Team Sho-Air.
